How to Buy at McCartneys Auctions

McCartneys makes buying at auction as simple as possible. Catalogues are available by clicking on each sale in the Sales Calendar.

Buyers Premium

Buyers premium on all goods is charged at 10% + vat on the premium, giving a total charge of 11.75% of hammer price

Methods of Payment

Accounts can be settled by cash or cheque. Other methods of payment should be discussed with the auctioneer.

Collection

Goods purchased should be removed from the saleroom by the Thursday following the sale. Any goods uncleared by this time will be subject to a storage charge of £5 per day or part thereof except by prior arrangement with the auctioneer.
